After a bomb targets the billionaire Everything Bagel family one week before their son’s bread mitzvah, a Grain War breaks out in New Grain City pitting White against Wheat, leaving only crumbs in its wake.

Breadlums! is an adult animated crime dramedy — it’s Gotham meets BoJack, in an unforgiving world where everyone is made out of bread.

Elevator Pitch:

Set in New Grain City, Breadlums! follows a young orphaned billionaire bagel, a grizzled detective donut, and an intrepid reporter muffin as they investigate a bombing of the Everything Bagel family, unraveling a vast food pyramid scheme.

When the Naanarchist - long presumed toast - returns to settle old scones, three half baked heroes learn that if they can’t stand the heat, they better get out of Hell’s Bakery. Josh Everything, the orphaned boy genius, Mama Bear Claw, an NGPD detective one long week away from her retirement, and Poppy Muffinez, a hotshot Focaccia News reporter, fall down a donut hole investigating the 𝛑Anon conspiracy, child bun trafficking and government corruption that rises all the way to the top.

Along the way they meet an assortment of unsavory pastries. Pimpernickel runs NGC’s most notorious nightclub: the Bread Box. Oliver Garden is an uber-wealthy man of unlimited breadsticks. And Frank? Well, he’s just your friendly neighborhood junky hot dog bun with a crust of gold.
